Analogue CCTV is best described as a "traditional" system where camera images up to 8MP (4K resolution) send a video signal back to a recorder situated somewhere secure in your property.

IP (Internet Protocol) Systems are more advanced systems, with many cameras having inbuilt microphones and even speakers for two way audio via your smartphone. These cameras can be cleverly installed using networks and switches, making some installations much easier and cleaner for the customer.
